Life goes on, time passes; but men are always looking for their next challenge. Apollo 12  followed Apollo 11, the "Long Way Down" followed the "Long Way Round", and naturally, this crew had to prepare a sequel to "The Patagonia Motorcycle Diaries" (http://patagonia-adventure.blogspot.ch/).

The idea of visiting the North Cape was born while we (Miji & Isa) were in a motorcycle trip to Croatia in 2011, It was just our second day, we were in the middle of the Italian alps, and our goal for that day was to reach Trieste.

A huge storm started to form (later that day, we had Zeus literally throwing lightnings to the left and right of the motorcycle). When the rain started to fall, we stopped in a small village, looked for shelter and started to put on our "raining" gear. At that moment a "family guy" approached us, we chatted about our trip, destination, motorcycles and others. He shared that in just a few weeks he was taking his GS Adventure and riding to the North Cape. He made look our trip to Croatia like an afternoon ride... and since then, the idea of conquering the north and his mythical cape has been continuously in our minds.
